Jim Teeny Cast his Line to ClassicS
For Immediate Release
The Kayak Fishing ClassicS is very pleased to announce that Jim Teeny Inc. makers of some of the finest specialty fly lines in the world, has joined the ClassicS for the upcoming 2011 Series Year. As a sponsor to the national tournament series, Jim Teeny will provide fly lines and support to the fly fishing division in which many of the contestants compete. Jim Teeny Inc. brings a powerful lineup of high tech, high performance fly lines to the series as well as a wealth of knowledge and personal touch by the founder, Jim Teeny himself.
If one is new to fly fishing, one of the biggest and almost overwhelming surprises is learning about all of the different fly line applications available today. Teeny Fly Lines have a new HPC coating and feature advanced tapers that greatly aid the angler no matter what level their expertise. The business savvy founder has listened to anglers and professionals alike in the development of his product line. Several renowned Captain/Guides have aided in the development of the specialty lines and it has never been easier to select the best line for an anglers needs.
On the personal touch side, an angler can call the company and speak with one of the talents or even talk to Jim Teeny himself. Jim is always glad to help and even share a fish story or two. He is also involved in Casting for Recovery and Project Healing Waters and always anxious to be of help. The anglers of the ClassicS are in for a treat when they meet Jim.
Jim Teeny is looking forward to being involved with the Kayak Fishing ClassicS as much as the ClassicS are about him. The fly line company will be put to the test as the series fishes for a variety of saltwater species along the Coastal Gulf States. The fishing conditions change constantly from tournament to tournament as well as the species they are fishing for. It will be interesting to see a measurable increase in angler performance with Jim Teeny fly lines.
The right fly line makes all of the difference in this sport and it is as important as the fly rod itself. Teeny has even been involved in the design and development of a fly rod series with Temple Fork Outfitters, another sponsor to the ClassicS, interesting enough but another story in it of itself.
We welcome Jim Teeny to the ClassicS and know that our anglers will greatly appreciate winning and using their lines.
