The stocking feet waders are one of the most popular waders. They weight less than the boot foot wader does and you can wear different soled boot for various terrains. They have a neoprene sock attached to the bottom of the wader.
When purchasing boots for these fishing waders, buy lugged sole boots for fishing in muddy-bottomed water and felt soles on rock or gravel-bottomed waters.
