One of the most beautiful places on Earth is found in the Atlantic Ocean east of Charleston, South Carolina. The island of Bermuda is surrounded by deep blue waters and fringed by beaches of pink sand. It is lined with pastel colored buildings, picturesque churches and historic structures. Horseshoe Bay is the most popular and is defined by a band of half-moon of pink sand. It is usually crowded, sometimes packed to the gills. It offers a wide range of amenities not found at other beaches on the island, including a lifeguard from May to September.

Elbow Beach is a long stretch of pink sand mile and is also very popular. Although the eastern half is reserved for guests of the Elbow Beach Hotel, Part West is one of the safest beaches for swimming because of protection of coral reefs that surround it.

Warwick Long Bay a half-mile beach in the parish of Warwick, known for its picturesque coral formations rising just above the water. Its decor is like grass low bushes. The relative isolation of Warwick Long Bay attracts joggers, walkers and riders. The coral reef keeps the waters calm.

Astwood Cove is nestled in the cliffs of Warwick. It has fine sand and is ideal for snorkeling. Neighbours Astwood Park is a good place to picnic and hike. Narrow paths over the cliffs, get closer to nature.

Church Bay, with its sandy beaches and unusual deep pink, is a place to tan first, but also a great place for snorkeling. The barrier over the potboilers, rocks sticking above the surf, are close to the shore. The result is a habitat for a wide variety of marine life.

Chaplin Bay is one of the most picturesque beaches of Bermuda when he is there because it almost disappears during high tide. It straddles the boundary between two parishes, Warwick and Southampton. An outdoor reef passes of the water, partially separating half the beach on the other.

John Smith's Bay was named after the governor of the colony of Jamestown United States. This is the only public beach in the parish of Smith. It is long and flat with pale pink sand typical of the south shore. John Smith Bay has a lifeguard in the summer and basic toilets and changing rooms.

Shelly Bay Beach, also on the south shore children is a friendly and offers all the amenities necessary for a family day at the beach. It has a shallow blue-green tropical waters, sand laced with shells and lots of little toys to rent. You can rent a locker, an umbrella, snorkels, beach gear and a sailboat. The playground has swings, slides and climbing frames galore, and Shelly Bay Beach House sells food and beverages.

Tobacco Bay Park is a popular place for the whole family and offers all the amenities necessary to enjoy the beach or in water. the origin of tobacco Bay back to 1775 when the island came together to load the gunpowder on ships during the American War of Independence. focal point of the park is the Tobacco Bay Beach Pavilion, where you can rent chairs, umbrellas or diving gear snorkeling, and buy food and soft drinks. Somerset Long Bay in Sandys Parish is a lonely place that attracts relatively few visitors, especially during the week. The water is shallow, leaving the pool about children and expel the majority of swimmers at other beaches. Nevertheless, Somerset Bay is an ideal place for a picnic, long walk or just get far from everything.
